Solid gold gym?

When you're visiting Venice, California, you should consider paying a visit to the mothership, as it were, the original Gold's Gym at 360 Hampton Drive in Venice, California, that opened in 1965, which was named to ESPN's List of "America's 100 Most Important Sports Venues."

According to ESPN's Jim Caple: "Because with more than 600 locations around the world and the old gym of The Arnold, this original location is such a mecca of bodybuilding that you should drop and give it 20 during a visit."

Gold's Gym is headquartered in Irving, Texas, ranked right above Dodger's Stadium and three spots above the Basketball Hall of Fame on ESPN's list.
